The clay stick model method was adopted in this study to discuss the special writing forms, reverse writing and inverted writing, in inscriptions, from the perspective of the manufacturing process. A set of inference models of leaf lettering was also built to further expound the reasons for forming of reverse writing and inverted writing under this model.
