    Abstract:

    Several modifications were studied to improve the efficiency of traditional soaking methods for desalination of porcelains found in undersea environments. Conductivity testing, X-ray fluorescence (XRF) testing and qualitative analysis using silver nitrate were performed to see the effects. The results show that these modifications can improve the porcelain desalination efficiency to a certain extent, primarily by taking less time needed.
