Cultural heritage conservation and management can also be considered as a kind of risk management. The risk identification, assessment and treatment of cultural heritage so as to achieve a low cost and high efficiency of conservation and management can reflect the thoughts and ideas of preventive conservation. In the direction of Risk Management Theory, this paper works to put forward some important issues which present the monitoring work that faces through studying and analyzing the content and methods of the risk management of cultural heritage. All this will help with the launch of the monitoring work, building the framework of our cultural heritage monitoring system, and providing the reference for improving the conservation and management level of our cultural heritage.
