SanPu” software for cultural property databases is capable of retaining complete and integrating information about relics. However, it is inconvenient for daily usage. This article will show a case study, using FileMaker, to customize the cultural properties database. The goal is to improve the interface and flexibility, to make it easy to share information on mobile devices, to enhance the utilization of cultural property resources, and to give museum curators and researchers an option for building their own databases. A customized database can be more effective with limited budgets.
