Abstract:Mossbauer spectroscopy is an effective method for studying the hyperfine interactions of solid materials. It is a non - destructive, high - resolution method with high ~ sensitivity and strong interference ~ resistance. Mossbauer spectroscopy has been used extensively in archaeological studies. This research briefly introduces the ap- plications of Mossbauer spectroscopy to the study of ancient pottery , porcelains , glazes, copper and other metal ob- jects and mural paintings. Further potential applications of Mossbauer spectroscopy in this field are also discussed.
