In order to cooperate with the construction, cultural relics such as the ruins of Yongle Fang and Jing’an Fang walls and Ninth Hengjie in Chang’an City of the Sui and Tang Dynasties were relocated and protected. The steps included cleaning and pre-protection, isolation packaging and reinforcement, undercutting and consolidation, and lifting and transportation. It is hoped that this site relocation and protection work can provide useful ideas and methods for similar projects. Additionally, the successful implementation of this relocation and conservation effort may serve as a reference for balancing livelihood improvement and cultural heritage conservation in the future.
